In August, Ping was part of the jury at the Falling Walls Competition in Taiwan, where students and early-career professionals had three minutes to pitch their innovative ideas in the field of science.

Organized by the German Institute Taipei, Friedrich Naumann Foundation Global Innovation Hub, National Science & Technology Council, DAAD Taiwan and TUD Dresden University of Technology, the event was part of the Falling Walls Lab, an international pitch competition for young scientists whose aim it is to make this world a better place.
