Welcome, new group members!

We are very happy to welcome or four new team members (from right to left): Sung-Ya Lin, Zhen Li, Lian-Yu Hou and Han-Wen (Vincent) Chang – who’s actually not new at all, he is the last member of Team Taipei to make the move to Tübingen!

Sung-Ya’s research tackles how nematodes evolve in response to their fungal predators and what the molecular interfaces are for the predator-prey evolutionary arms race.

Zhen combines bioinformatics and evolutionary genomics to investigate how genomes are shaped over time, using comparative approaches and custom computational tools to explore structural and functional changes across species.

Liang-Yu’s research focuses on how Pleurotus ostreatus reprograms its metabolism to facilitate the formation of toxocyst.

Han-Wen is studying the nuclear hormone receptor that controls how easily C. elegans are caught by the nematode-trapping fungus A. oligospora.

We are very much looking forward to working with you, guys!
